ARVA Schovel Race is the lightest ski mountaineering shovel model from this French brand. It was designed specifically for competitions, where lightness is very important, only 300g, and it also complies with ISMF and PDG standards.

The shovel is divided into an ultra-lightweight carbon fibre shaft, 47 cm long, and a shovel made of strong and durable anodised aluminium, measuring 21 cm long, 21 cm wide and 1.5 mm thick. Once hooked together Shovel Race measures 61cm overall length.

The pole and shovel are joined via the quick and easy PIN LOCK locking mechanism, so that no time is lost in the event of an avalanche.

Finally, the handle is ergonomic with a T-handle, which makes this shovel really handy.
