La Sportiva Trango Tower Extreme GTX is a fully crampon boot in Gore-Tex, ideal for mountaineering, ice climbing and mixed climbing.

The most technical boot of the Trango line, maintains the main feature of the series: light weight for the reduction of volumes in the exclusive Vibram sole La Sportiva Cube. This is also equipped with a shock-absorbing system called Impact Brake System, thanks to which the impact on the ground is softened by the presence of some pieces in the sole that are the first to touch the ground.

The upper maintains the typical and attractive appearance of the Trango line. Here too we find an extremely resistant material that is interspersed, in the areas most subject to abrasion, with single-burr wire inserts that create a system called Honey-Comb Guard.

The present Gore-Tex membrane, Insulated Comfort, is obviously waterproof but also very breathable and, not surprisingly, guarantees excellent thermal insulation. That’s why boots are usable even at low temperatures.

Equipped with a 3D-Flex System system, a softer fabric joint at the ankle that supports the ankle in the most uneven paths but facilitates walking.
