Petzl Stop assisted-braking caving descender Cheap

Petzl Stop assisted caving descender is one of the most widespread and popular descalers among speleologists, characterized by a self-locking system that intervenes when the lever is released.

Petzl Stop can be installed and removed from the rope easily without having to remove it from the harness.

Very similar to the Petzl Simple (), the Stop also has a handle / lever connected to the lower pulley designed to allow better control of the descent and to facilitate rope maneuvers. The ergonomic handle makes the grip and use particularly comfortable.

The descent speed must however be carefully checked and it is advisable not to use the lever to brake abruptly because you risk scalding the rope stocking and damaging it.

Compatible with single semi-static ropes with a diameter between 8.5 and 11 mm.

The rubbing zones, pulley and cam, are in stainless steel and guarantee excellent resistance.
