SCARPA has paid attention to every detail in this model. The shell has an over-injected carbon insert which guarantees high torsional and longitudinal rigidity. This technology, called Carbon Core Evo, enables a more direct transmission of impulses to the ski, which translates into great skiing precision.
The Boa Fit System, on the other hand, is designed to fit the foot perfectly, without annoying pressure points. It can be adjusted effortlessly and with millimetre precision, even on the move. Once locked, there is no risk of it moving, making it a truly secure and reliable closure, even for many hours.
There is also a lever and a Velcro band at the top, which allow for quick and precise closure. By simply operating the lever and keeping the Velcro fastener in place, two types of fit can be obtained, suitable for ascending and descending. There is also a flap glued to the shell that facilitates the fit and makes closing the boot more effective and faster.
One of the strong points of this boot is the new Ski / Walk F1 Lever mechanism, designed to give you the ultimate in lightness and performance. Thanks to the automatic return system, the transition from skiing to walking is quick and easy. Moreover, thanks to the Friction Free technology, there is no connecting rod between the shell and the cuff and this guarantees you a smoother movement when walking.
